In this 20 minute audio, I will guide you through a continuous loop of Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskara A). You will receive an instant MP3 download along with a PDF graphic which includes an image of each pose and the order of the sequence.

This audio is intended to support you through establishing a regular Sun Salutation home practice. This audio goes at a slow, achievable pace for beginners, however, if you have never practiced yoga under the supervision of a Yoga Teacher I suggest scheduling a Private Yoga Session first. You can do this with me, here, if you live in Charlotte, NC or through a local yoga studio.


For thousands of years, Hindus have been praying to Lord Surya, the sun god of health. “The outer sun, they asserted, is in reality a token of our own “inner sun,” which corresponds to our subtle, or spiritual, heart. Here is the seat of consciousness and higher wisdom (jnana) and, in some traditions, the domicile of the embodied self (jivatman).” –


The Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskara) is not merely a physical exercise to warm your body but a prayer in motion. Through Sun Salutation we can connect our soul and body. This practice establishes your column of soul light down into the Earth and up to the Sun, rooting you into your body and Divine, sacred reality.

    This guided Sun Salutation was exactly what I needed. I work odd hours so often end up doing yoga by myself at home but can never find a guided yoga routine online that I can get into. I love that this was just audio instead of video because it was much easier to focus on the movements. Having the PDF was helpful also incase I wanted to verify I was doing one correctly without having to watch for the right time of a video. Madison’s voice is so calming that I get lost in it and feel a deeper connection with the practice instead of being distracted by the instructor, which I’ve experienced in some live classes where I live. Just wonderful.

    I love how Madison teaches you to hop forward from downward dog, I’ve never been able to do it before now.
