15 Aug You Are NOT Your Gremlin
The energy in the air lately has left me feeling desperate and as if nothing I do is enough! Have you been feeling depressed, confused, or chaotic? You’re not alone!
Here is a secret, even though us “Wellness” careerees do our best to spread joy and light and positivity out to the world, we struggle just the same. So as someone in the same ship allow me to give you some advice…
Sometimes we feel we aren’t good enough, not doing enough, but this is an illusion! This is the ego self and dark energy in this world trying to bring you down. The best thing you can do is step back and laugh. “Laugh?!”, you might say.
Try this, imagine your Gremlin. I have been reading “Taming your Gremlin” by Rick Carson (highly recommend it!) and we are asked to imagine our Gremlin. That little creature in our mind that say “O Screw it!” ,”You suck!” , “Who are you kidding? You can’t do it!”. That little shit seems to be running things lately. All you can do is, imagine your Gremlin, and then laugh at her/him.
My Gremlin is short and stout, with pigtails, and HUGE rabbit teeth covered in braces. She pouts a lot and act like a child and is incredibly annoying. However, now that I have made myself aware of her presence, next time she screams “Madison your pathetic!” I just envision her goofy smile and giggle!
Just remember that you are NOT your Gremlin. Your Gremlin is a lie. You CAN DO IT! YOU ARE ENOUGH!
